🏈 ICYMI: DNC Paints the Skies With “Vote Kamala” Message In First NFL Ad Campaign Across Four Battleground State Games

As NFL season kicks into high gear and the election cycle enters its final stretch, the DNC took advantage of seven battleground state NFL teams playing each other with special messages reminding voters of Trump’s dangerous Project 2025 agenda. On Sunday, the DNC launched its first NFL paid ad campaign with skywriting above the Pittsburgh Steelers – Las Vegas Raiders game, encouraging spectators to fight for their freedom and “Vote Kamala.” The campaign also included plane banners with messages above the Arizona Cardinals – Green Bay Packers game in Green Bay, the Atlanta Falcons – Carolina Panthers game in Charlotte, and the Cleveland Browns – Philadelphia Eagles game in Philadelphia, reminding voters to sack Project 2025 once and for all and get behind the Harris-Walz ticket and their winning playbook.

See below for some of the coverage:

Here’s what voters are seeing on the airwaves:

WBAY (Green Bay, WI): “[DNC] ad campaign flyover during today’s game. The flyover marked the first time an advertisement was displayed by plane in the history of the NFL. It was unveiled by the Democratic National [Committee] as part of a wider national NFL campaign with the goal of meeting voters where they are. The banner read: ‘Sack Trump’s Project 2025. Vote Kamala!’ DNC Spokesperson Stephanie Justice issued a statement on flyover that reads in part, ‘Trump’s Project 2025 agenda is a dangerous plan to give him unprecedented power over Wisconsinites’ daily lives, hike taxes on typical families by nearly $4,000 a year, and give tax giveaways to his billionaire friends.’”

KTNV (Las Vegas, NV): “The Democratic National [Committee] launched its first NFL ad campaign in battleground states. Today, skywriting and flyovers appeared over the Pittsburgh Steelers – Las Vegas Raiders game at Allegiant Stadium. The DNC’s flyover banners read, ‘Sack Trump’s Project 2025. Vote Kamala.’ Flyovers also happened at other NFL games across the country.”

KSNV (Las Vegas, NV): “If you went to Allegiant Stadium to see the Raiders–Steelers game and looked up, then you would see ‘Vote Kamala’ above. And it wasn’t just us here locally
the NFL and the DNC launched this whole skywriting campaign, and they did so in the battleground states
very similar that people who were going to these big games, big NFL stadiums, sold out, looking up to the sky and seeing the flyover banner. Sometimes it would read, ‘Sack Trump’s Project 2025. Vote Kamala.’ Sometimes it would read, ‘Go Birds!’, depending on the stadium they were at.”

ICYMI: Economists Say Trump’s MAGAnomics Scam Will Spike Inflation

Key Point: “Most economists think inflation, interest rates and deficits would be higher under the policies former President Donald Trump would pursue in a second administration than under those proposed by Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a quarterly survey by The Wall Street Journal.”

Wall Street Journal: Economists Say Inflation, Deficits Will Be Higher Under Trump Than Harris

By: Paul Kiernan and Anthony DeBarros

  • Most economists think inflation, interest rates and deficits would be higher under the policies former President Donald Trump would pursue in a second administration than under those proposed by Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a quarterly survey by The Wall Street Journal.
  • The upshot: Economists still say Trump’s policies are more likely to add to inflation, deficits and interest rates. If anything, the margin has grown since July.
  • Of the 50 economists who responded to the survey’s question on inflation, 68% said prices would rise faster under Trump than under Harris. That was up from 56% in July.
  • Since July, Trump has pledged across-the-board tariffs of 10% to 20% on imported goods, up from his earlier plan to impose 10% tariffs. He has also proposed a 60% or higher tariff on imports from China.
  • Studies of tariffs imposed in his first term found they were often passed through to importers or consumers as higher costs or prices and hurt industries that depend on imported inputs.
  • “If the tariffs work the way economists think they work, I think people are in for a very nasty surprise,” said Philip Marey, senior U.S. strategist at Rabobank.
  • The Journal’s survey asked economists how Trump’s proposed broad-based tariffs would affect domestic manufacturing employment within three to five years, relative to a scenario with no such policy. Of the 44 economists who responded, 59% said employment would be lower, while only 16% said it would be higher. The remainder said employment would be the same.
  • As a result, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Trump’s plans would widen federal budget deficits by $7.5 trillion over the next decade, more than twice the expected increase under Harris.
  • A likely consequence of higher deficits and inflation is higher interest rates. The Journal’s survey showed 61% of economists saw rates being higher under a hypothetical President Trump than under Harris.
  • Particularly reassuring, several economists said, was a large upward revision by government statisticians to the estimated share of personal incomes that are being saved. The revision showed U.S. households squirreled away $454 billion more in July than previously believed. Since consumer spending drives about two-thirds of economic output, a higher saving rate suggests the expansion has legs to run further.
  • “The U.S. economy is showing surprising resilience,” said Dana Peterson, chief economist at the Conference Board.

DNC Statement on Indigenous Peoples’ Day

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, DNC Native Caucus Chair Clara Pratte, and DNC AAPI Caucus Chair Bel Leong-Hong released the following statement commemorating Indigenous Peoples’ Day:

“Today and every day, we honor the contributions and resiliency of American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. Indigenous people have made historic and meaningful contributions to our country, and we’re honored to celebrate their stories, strength, and determination. The Biden-Harris administration is proud to be the first in history to issue a presidential proclamation marking Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and will continue to honor Native culture and their rich past and present, as we look toward creating a brighter future.

“President Biden and Vice President Harris are dedicated advocates for Indigenous communities, and are steadfast in upholding their responsibility to Tribal Nations. From the minute they took office, they have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of Indigenous communities nationwide. Through the American Rescue Plan, Congress authorized the largest direct federal investment in Tribal Nations — $32 billion — in history. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, the first Native American to serve as a cabinet secretary and a member of the Laguna Pueblo Tribe, also helped form a new Missing & Murdered Unit to bring justice for missing and murdered Indigenous people. President Biden and Vice President Harris are tackling the impacts of climate change on Native Hawaiian communities, and new federal guidance instructs the use of the Hawaiian language in commemoration of Mahina Ê»ĆŒlelo HawaiÊ»i or Hawaiian Language Month.

“As Democrats continue to uplift Indigenous peoples, extreme MAGA Republicans are attempting to silence their voices through voting restrictions and gerrymandered congressional maps. We cannot let them win. Our country’s strength lies in our diversity, and Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz will fight every day to build on our progress, protect Tribal lands, and invest in Indigenous communities. There is still more work to do, but on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we are proud to reaffirm our commitment to America’s first stewards and ensure Indigenous communities continue to thrive.”

DNC Marks Indigenous Peoples’ Day with a Six-Figure Ad Campaign Reaching Native Voters

On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the DNC announced a six-figure ad campaign targeting Native voters and empowering them to make their voices heard this November. The ‘I Will Vote’ campaign will reach Native communities in Arizona, North Carolina, Montana, and Alaska through digital, print, and radio ads with a majority being placed in local and national Native-owned publications. This is the DNC’s third Native-focused campaign this year alone, and the most the DNC has ever spent on a campaign targeting Native voters.

The DNC’s ‘I Will Vote’ campaign directs voters to the DNC’s up-to-date national coverage of polling places and voter education information all in one place to empower Tribal communities with the information they need to exercise their right to vote in this critical election cycle. Earlier this year, the DNC released and distributed civic engagement and voter protection guides in seven different Native languages; Apache, Ho-Chunk, Hopi, Navajo, Paiute, Shoshone, and Zuni. The guides highlight resources for registering to vote, casting a ballot, and addressing obstacles to voting.

“Democrats are meeting Native voters where they are, investing in our third ad campaign this cycle dedicated to reaching Native communities, with vital information about voting in this election,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. “We know that this upcoming election is critical for our Tribal nations, with our freedoms, access to health care and education, and the fundamental right to self-determination and Tribal sovereignty on the ballot. The Democratic Party is taking no vote or community for granted, engaging every facet of our diverse coalition of voters in order to elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November.”

“Native American people will absolutely help decide the results of this election,” said Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan. “With Harris and Walz at the top of the ticket, Native voters in swing states and in communities across the country have the power to put Democrats in office who will strengthen our tribal sovereignty and work to ensure that every Native child has the opportunity to achieve their biggest, boldest dreams. Now it’s up to us to raise our voices with our votes.”

Supporting and Investing in Native American Communities

While MAGA Republicans have attempted to undermine Tribal land protections, proposed cuts to critical services in Native communities, and spewed hateful rhetoric, Democrats are strategically engaging Native voters through this dedicated campaign and doubling down on our commitment to advance Tribal sovereignty and self-determination.

The ad will be featured in the following 14 publications, with more being added weekly:

  • Ketchikan Daily News, AK
  • Char-Koosta News, MT
  • Ak-Chin, print, AZ

Sunday Scaries: Vance Doubles Down on Election Denial Lies as Trump Threatens to Use Military Against “Enemy Within”

In response to Donald Trump, JD Vance, and their MAGA mouthpieces pushing an extreme anti-democracy agenda this morning, DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement:

“After a week of refusing to admit that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, JD Vance spent this morning echoing Trump’s baseless election-denying lies while Trump himself threatened to use the military against ‘the enemy within’ in the latest example that Trump will always put himself ahead of the rule of law and the American people. Voters are sick and tired of hearing the Trump-Vance ticket and their MAGA mouthpieces attack our elections and undermine our democracy – and they will send a clear message this November when they stand up against this assault on our Constitution at the ballot box.”

JD Vance once again refused to say Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, pushed election conspiracies, and dodged a question on Trump saying he’ll go after political opponents.

Martha Raddatz, ABC News: “Will Donald Trump go after his political opponents? He’s suggested that in the past.”

Vance: *Dodges*

[…]

Raddatz: “In interview after interview, question after question, and in the debate, you refuse to say that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. So I’m just going to assume that if I ask you fifty times whether he lost the election, you would not acknowledge that he did. Is that correct?”

Vance: “Martha, you’ve asked this question. I’ve been asked this question ten times in the past couple of weeks. Of course, Donald Trump and I believe there were problems in 2020 [
]”

[…]

Raddatz: “Did Donald Trump lose? That’s the question. And you know that’s the question.”

Vance: “Martha, I’ve said repeatedly, I think the 2020 election had problems. You want to say rigged, you want to say he won, use whatever vocabulary term you want.”

Trump threatened to weaponize the National Guard and military against American citizens to destroy the “enemy from within.”

Trump: “I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within
 totally destroying our country
[I]n terms of Election Day, I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics. And I think they’re the big– and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by [the] National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military, because they can’t let that happen.”

Vance then refused to say where millions of patients would go if the Trump-Vance ticket was successful in their plan to defund Planned Parenthood, while conceding that “a lot of Americans” disagree with their anti-choice agenda to ban abortion nationwide.

Martha Raddatz, ABC News: “You said during the debate that you and Trump have more to do to earn back people’s trust, specifically as it relates to women and reproductive rights. Fifty-six percent of those polled support restoring abortion access to what it was under Roe v. Wade. So what would you say, specifically to the women watching this morning who believe they should have their own say over their own bodies and not the government, either state or federal?”

Vance: “Well, Martha, first of all, what I’d say is that I think renationalizing this entire debate is a big mistake, and I understand that a lot of Americans, according to that poll, apparently disagree with me and President Trump here
And I think that what we had in this country for 50 years was a culture war over this particular issue because we had nationalized it.”

Shannon Bream, Fox News: “And quickly, on Planned Parenthood, you guys have talked about defunding them, taking away government funding. They say that no U.S. taxpayer funding can flow to abortion at any stage, but they say they do hundreds of thousands of cancer screenings, birth control, which they say actually prevents another 500,000 abortions a year, and all kinds of other testing and medication, contraception. Where would those patients go if Planned Parenthood lost the funding?”

Vance: *Refuses to answer*

MAGA Mike Johnson and Byron Donalds refused to commit to certifying the 2024 election results.

Kristen Welker, NBC News: “Mr. Speaker, very quickly let me ask you, I’m gonna be speaking with Congresswoman Liz Cheney just moments from now. She’s been very outspoken, obviously an opponent of Donald Trump, as well as House Republicans. She’s expressed concerns that if Trump doesn’t win, that you would not certify the election results. So here, now, can you say if Donald Trump does not win, do you commit to certifying the election results?”

Mike Johnson: “A free and fair and legal election will be certified.”

Welker: “Regardless of who wins, you’ll certify the results?”

Johnson: “If the election is free and fair and legal and we pray and hope that it is — there’s a lot of work being done to make sure that’s true.”

Welker: “When people hear you say ‘if it is free and fair,’ does that not undermine people’s confidence in the election results, Mr. Speaker?”

Johnson: “No, it shouldn’t, no, no, it shouldn’t.”

Welker: “Former President Trump has yet to concede in 2020.”

Johnson: “No, no, the point is the process works, we have the peaceful transfer of power. We did in 2020.”

Margaret Brennan, CBS News: “But, back in 2020 you supported a legal challenge to the outcome of the election. The Supreme Court rejected that attempt to challenge it. Since then, the Electoral Count Reform Act has been passed. Are you certain that at the nation’s capitol, the lawmakers who you work with won’t be challenging the outcome?”

Mike Johnson: “Look, we will see what happens.”

Brennan: “And 62 legal challenges, as you know, failed with the Trump challenges.”

Dana Bash, CNN: “My question is, are you going to follow the new law? Are you going to follow the new law about certifying?”

Byron Donalds: “And I’ve been very clear, Dana. As long as states and jurisdictions follow election procedures in their states, there will be no problem from me or anybody on Capitol Hill.”

Bash: “Alright, well that’s a giant loophole that you’re leaving there, which, there’s no evidence that that has not happened, it didn’t happen in 2020.”

Donalds: “That’s not a loophole, that’s actually not a loophole, Dana. If you look at what happened in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and other jurisdictions in 2020, they did not follow election procedures passed by the state legislature, that’s an empirical fact.”

Bash: “Congressman, there’s no evidence of widespread fraud, that went through, what, sixty court cases.”

JD Vance on Extreme Anti-Choice Agenda: “A Lot of Americans
Disagree With Me And President Trump”

In response to JD Vance admitting that “a lot of Americans
disagree” with the Trump-Vance ticket’s extremely unpopular anti-choice agenda including ending Roe v. Wade, DNC Spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement:

“Correct.”

Donald Trump and JD Vance’s extreme anti-choice agenda is overwhelmingly unpopular with voters.

USA Today: “Americans overwhelmingly oppose the next goal of many anti-abortion activists, to enact a federal law banning abortion nationwide. By 80%-14%, those surveyed opposed that idea, including 65% of Republicans and 83% of independents.”

Axios: “Most Americans support abortion access one year after Roe v. Wade: poll”

CNN: “A 64% majority of US adults say they disapprove of last year’s Supreme Court ruling that women do not have a constitutional right to an abortion, with half strongly disapproving – an assessment that’s almost entirely unchanged from CNN’s poll last July in the immediate wake of the decision.”

Vance’s anti-choice record includes wanting abortion to be “illegal nationally,” attacking exceptions for rape and incest, bailing on reproductive freedoms, pushing to defund Planned Parenthood, and more.

CNN: “JD Vance said in 2022 he ‘would like abortion to be illegal nationally’”

“During a podcast interview in January 2022, then-candidate JD Vance said he ‘certainly would like abortion to be illegal nationally’ and was ‘sympathetic’ to the view that a national ban was necessary to stop women from traveling across states to obtain an abortion.”

Vance: “I am 100 percent pro-life, and believe that abortion has turned our society into a place where we see children as an inconvenience to be thrown away rather than a blessing to be nurtured. Eliminating abortion is first and foremost about protecting the unborn, but it’s also about making our society more pro-child and pro-family. The historic Dobbs decision puts this new era of society into motion, one that prioritizes family and the sanctity of all life.”

Newsweek: “J.D. Vance Backs ‘National Standard’ for Abortions”

Daily Beast: “J.D. Vance suggested he would support prohibiting abortion even in cases of rape and incest—and dismissed those catalysts as ‘inconvenient.’”

Vice: “JD Vance Compared Abortion to Slavery”

Ohio Capital Journal: “U.S. Senate GOP prevents contraception access bill from moving ahead”

“Ohio Republican U.S. Sen. JD Vance didn’t vote.”

The Independent: “JD Vance didn’t even show up to vote on [IVF protections].”

Jennifer Bendery, Huffington Post: “Vance won’t be at today’s Senate vote
”

The Hill: “Senate Republicans block legislation to codify IVF access”

Republicans who voted against include: JD Vance.

Vanity Fair: “On Wednesday, Senate Republicans are expected to object to Tammy Duckworth’s Right to Build Families Act, because, surprise: They don’t actually care about families and aren’t ‘pro-life.’

“‘It’s idiotic for us to take the bait,’ Senator JD Vance told Politico, as though the measure were some kind of political trap. (He also noted that he had not actually read the bill yet.)”

NBC News: “Senate Republicans block Democratic bill codifying Roe v. Wade abortion protections”

Republicans who voted against include: JD Vance.

Vance: “On the question of defunding Planned Parenthood
our view is we don’t think that taxpayers should fund late term abortions. That has been a consistent view of the Trump campaign the first time around, it will remain a consistent view.”

TRUMP DID THIS: Reporting shows that abortion bans across the country — which Donald Trump “proudly” made possible and said are “working very brilliantly” — delaying emergency medical care and leading to “preventable” deaths.

NBC News: “A dramatic rise in pregnant women dying in Texas after abortion ban”

ProPublica: “Abortion Bans Have Delayed Emergency Medical Care. In Georgia, Experts Say This Mother’s Death Was Preventable.”

“But ProPublica obtained reports that confirm that at least two women have already died after they couldn’t access legal abortions and timely medical care in their state

“Thurman’s case marks the first time an abortion-related death, officially deemed ‘preventable,’ is coming to public light. ProPublica will share the story of the second in the coming days

“But since abortion was banned or restricted in 22 states over the past two years, women in serious danger have been turned away from emergency rooms and told that they needed to be in more peril before doctors could help. Some have been forced to continue high-risk pregnancies that threatened their lives. Those whose pregnancies weren’t even viable have been told they could return when they were ‘crashing.’”

Trump: “We broke Roe v. Wade and we did something that nobody thought was possible. We gave it back to the states, and the states are working very brilliantly
But they’re working, and it’s working the way it’s supposed to.”

Trump: “I was proudly the person responsible for the ending of Roe v. Wade”

Vance, Trump, and their Project 2025 allies are pushing a dangerous Project 2025 agenda that would ban abortion nationwide, threaten access to IVF and contraception, and rip away reproductive freedoms.

Rolling Stone: “Trump Wants to Ban Abortion Nationwide: Report”

Trump: “There of course remains a vital role for the federal government in protecting unborn life. And it’s very important.”

Trump: “There has to be some form of punishment [for women who have an abortion].”

Barbara Barr, WGAL: “There are ads running that say that you would support certain states with bans monitoring a woman’s pregnancy.”

Trump: “Well that would be up to the states, again. They will make a decision as to how they do it.”

Washington Post: “Vance urged DOJ to enforce Comstock Act, crack down on abortion pills”

New Republic: “On January 20, 2025, conservatives plan to resurrect a 150-year-old defunct law to ban abortion across the nation. This is not a secret plan—far from it. It’s part of the 180-Day Playbook produced by Project 2025, detailing priorities for an incoming conservative president on day one.”

Politico: “Anti-abortion advocates worked for five decades to topple Roe v. Wade. They’re now laying the groundwork for a yearslong fight to curb in vitro fertilization.

“Since the Alabama Supreme Court ruled last month that frozen embryos are children, the Heritage Foundation and other conservative groups have been strategizing how to convince not just GOP officials but evangelicals broadly that they should have serious moral concerns about fertility treatments like IVF and that access to them should be curtailed.”

Media Matters: “The Heritage Foundation quietly released draconian new IVF policy recommendations for the next GOP president”

“Heritage has been a staunchly anti-IVF voice, supporting Alabama’s controversial Supreme Court ruling that frozen embryos cultivated through IVF treatment have the same rights as living children, and that a person can be held liable for destroying embryos.”

The 19th: “RNC approves platform that would give rights to fetuses, endangering abortion, IVF”

“Fetal personhood is widely seen as being in conflict with in vitro fertilization (IVF), which creates embryos outside of the uterus that are later implanted. Fetal personhood bestows the same rights currently reserved for people to embryos from the moment of fertilization.”

Reproductive Freedom for All: “The extensive mandate calls to gut reproductive freedom, including effectively banning medication abortion, ending access to emergency abortion care, attacking contraception, deploying fetal personhood, and undermining IVF in federal policy

“Project 2025 includes personhood language and policies that propagate the belief that life begins at conception—which could have devastating impacts should it be put into law. This so-called “personhood” language could ban not only abortion but also some forms of birth control and assisted fertility treatments like IVF.”

The Nation: “Project 2025 Has Bad Medicine for HHS”

“And by declaring that life begins at conception, his manifesto appears to commit HHS to finding ways to outlaw IVF, which relies on generating multiple embryos, most of which are not implanted.”

Rolling Stone: “Inside the MAGA Plan to Attack Birth Control, Surveil Women and Ban the Abortion Pill”

Vance: “I’ve reviewed a lot of [Project 2025]. There are some good ideas in there.”

Axios: “[Project 2025] is undeniably a Trump-driven operation.”

Coverage of the DNC’s Newest Ad: “A Vote for Jill Stein is a Vote for Donald Trump”

On Friday, the DNC launched a six-figure ad campaign in the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania calling out Jill Stein as a spoiler for Donald Trump.

The ad, “Crucial,” features the image of Jill Stein morphing into an image of Donald Trump, reminding voters that a vote for Stein is a vote for Trump. Stein was Trump’s key to the White House in 2016, and she is unapologetic about handing him the race in 2024 — “I will stop Kamala Harris [from] winning the White House.” That’s why Donald Trump praised her at his rally and his MAGA allies are propping up her spoiler candidacy

Coverage of the DNC’s newest ad:

Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s Morning Joe: “Obviously, Democrats want to leave no stone unturned. And the Democratic National Committee even has this new ad about the danger of the under vote, or those who may vote for Jill Stein, just 3% of the vote.”

Margie Omero on CNN’s Inside Politics: “It’s just not leaving anything to chance and making sure voters who are supporting her have the message that they need, information that they need to make a decision
Jill Stein said, her campaign said, ‘We’re going to help Harris lose in Michigan.’”

Kevin Corke on Fox News @ Night: “First time we’ve seen them issue a sort of real challenge to a third-party candidate in this way. I’ve never seen this happen, certainly not to this level.”

On PBS NewsHour: “With the polls consistently pointing to a razor-thin race a new ad from the DNC today warned voters that backing third-party candidate Jill Stein could tip the results in Trump’s favor.”

Michigan Advance: DNC ad says Jill Stein is a ‘spoiler’ candidate trying to help Trump regain the White House

“The DNC notes the many other linkages between Stein and Trump starting with her pivotal role in securing the electoral votes of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania for the former president in 2016. Stein won 132,000 cumulative votes in the three states, while Trump’s margin of victory was just 77,000 votes in those same states.”

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Democrats launch ad warning of Jill Stein ‘spoiler’ role benefiting Trump in swing states

“Trump this election cycle has already acknowledged Stein’s likely role in the battleground states. ‘Jill Stein, I like her very much,’ he said at a June rally in Philadelphia, PA. ‘You know why? She takes 100% from them.’”

Wisconsin Public Radio: DNC launching Wisconsin ad attacking Green Party candidate Jill Stein

“Stein was last on the Wisconsin ballot in 2016, when she received 31,072 votes. That year, Trump won the state by 22,748 votes. In 2020, Stein was not on the ballot and Democratic President Joe Biden defeated Trump in an election that was similarly close, with Biden winning by 20,682 votes.”

Pennsylvania Capital Star: New DNC ad casts Green Party candidate Stein as ‘spoiler’

“Titled ‘Crucial,’ the ad is going to run in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, the ‘blue wall’ states key to winning the White House, and on cable stations across the country. The ad includes an image of Stein that slowly transforms into an image of Trump.”

Washington Post: Democrats attack Green Party’s Jill Stein amid spoiler fears

“Democratic strategists beat back potentially catastrophic third-party threats this year with a campaign to force attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from the race and prevent a presidential bid by the moderate group No Labels. But advisers to Vice President Kamala Harris still say the final outcome in key swing states could hinge on the remaining independent and third-party contenders.”

New York Times: Democrats roll out an ad attacking Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate for president.

“The Wall Street Journal reported last month that Ms. Stein had sought the help of a consulting group that works with Republican campaigns, as well as several lawyers who have represented Mr. Trump or his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.”

NBC News: DNC launches TV ad attacking Jill Stein as Trump booster

“The ad notes that Trump has praised Stein for taking votes away from Democrats and that she has accepted the help of Republican operatives and Trump-aligned lawyers, even after she and other third-party candidates helped Trump get elected in 2016 by winning more votes than Hillary Clinton lost by in key states like Michigan.”

The Hill: Democrats to swing states: A vote for Jill Stein is a vote for Trump

“The ad shows a photo of Stein slowly morphing into a photo of Trump. It also includes comments that Trump gave about Stein during a rally in June in which he said, ‘I like her very much. You know why? She takes 100 percent from them,’ referring to the Democrats.”

Huff Post: DNC Releases Ad Attacking Green Party’s Jill Stein As A Spoiler Candidate

“The 2024 campaign is not the first time a Green Party presidential candidate has been accused of playing spoiler. In 2016, Stein was blamed for taking crucial votes away from Democrat Hillary Clinton and enabling Trump to win.”

New York Magazine: Democrats Fear Jill Stein Will Spoil Everything Again

Washington Examiner: DNC releases first-ever ad campaign targeting third-party candidate Jill Stein

“The DNC pushed back on those claims, pointing to reports that Stein hired a Republican consulting firm to secure ballot access in key voting states and has even been represented by Trump’s former personal lawyer and an attorney who was involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 election.”

Al Jazeera: Democrats attack third-party candidate Jill Stein in razor-thin race

“With less than a month to go to election day in the United States, Democrats are locked in a tight battle for every available vote in the presidential campaign and have taken on the third-party candidates they see as potential ‘spoilers.’”

Politicus USA: Kamala Harris Drops The Hammer On Jill Stein

“One of the reasons why Trump was able to win in 2016 was that Jill Stein took away just enough votes to get him to victory in several swing states. Democrats are making sure that it doesn’t happen again in 2020. Especially since Stein’s allies are saying that their goal is to help Donald Trump win.

“A vote for Jill Stein is definitely a vote for Donald Trump.”

On social media:

Jaime Harrison, @harrisonjaime: Today the DNC is releasing its first-ever ad focused on third-party candidates. Trump “likes” that Jill Stein is in this race—because Jill Stein can’t win, but she can help Trump win.

Adam Schiff, @AdamSchiff: With so much at stake in November, every vote will make a difference. So let’s be clear: A vote for Jill Stein is a vote for Donald Trump.

Keith Edwards, @Keithedwards: WOW! Democrats are taking this spoiler threat seriously. Good!

Jessica Craven, @jesscraven101: Stein’s campaign admits proudly that she can’t win and she’s running to help Trump succeed, and somehow people just don’t get how easily she could pull it off. PLEASE tell your swing state friends the margins of these races will be a few thousand votes. Stein already gave us Trump once. Now she’s actually SAYING she wants to do it again. Our kids’ futures are at stake. Please share.

Christopher Webb, @cwebbonline: Here it is!!! Trump: “Jill Stein. I like her very much. You know why? She takes 100% from them.” #Spoiler4Trump

Nick Knudsen đŸ‡ș🇾, @NickKnudsenUS: A vote for Jill Stein is a vote for Donald Trump. Forward this video to everyone you know.

Ms. M đŸȘ· Read Project 2025, @MsMalarkey24: Don’t be fooled by this Republican-Russian-Raytheon-backed grifter.

Adam Parkhomenko, @AdamParkhomenko: Can we get 500 retweets as soon as possible on this new ad the DNC just released?

Reed Galen, @reedgalen: Watch and share.

Harry Sisson, @harryjsisson: Jill Stein and other 3rd party candidates only help Trump. Stein can’t win, but she knows she can help Trump.

Kyle Davidson, @JrnDavidson: DNC slams Jill Stein as a spoiler candidate in new ad airing in battleground states including Michigan.

DNC Unveils NFL Ads: Skywriting and Flyovers at Battleground State Games for Steelers-Raiders, Cardinals-Packers, Falcons-Panthers, Browns-Eagles

While six of the seven battleground states’ NFL teams play each other, DNC continues to meet voters where they are to remind them of the importance of November’s election

WASHINGTON – Today, during week 6 of the NFL season, the DNC unveiled its first NFL ad campaign, with skywriting in Las Vegas over the Pittsburgh Steelers – Las Vegas Raiders game and plane banners with messages reminding voters to defeat Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda flying over the Arizona Cardinals – Green Bay Packers game in Green Bay, the Atlanta Falcons – Carolina Panthers game in Charlotte, and the Cleveland Browns – Philadelphia Eagles game in Philadelphia.

The skywriting in Las Vegas will feature a simple message that fans of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raider can get behind: “Vote Kamala,” while the plane banners will remind fans to vote for Kamala Harris and “sack” Trump’s Project 2025 agenda once and for all.

DNC Deputy Communications Director Abhi Rahman issued the following statement:

“It’s NFL Sunday and fans across the battlegrounds are ready to sack Donald Trump’s Project 2025 playbook once and for all. Trump’s Project 2025 agenda is a dangerous plan to give him unprecedented power over our daily lives, to ban abortion nationwide, allow the government to monitor pregnancies, and give tax giveaways to his billionaire friends. That’s why the DNC is meeting voters where they are, with innovative skywriting and plane banners that have a simple message: the most important contest is still to come in November, and America is ready to sack Trump’s Project 2025 agenda, win the game, and cast their vote for Kamala Harris.”

The messages for each location can be read below:

Las Vegas (Skywriting): Vote Kamala

Green Bay (Plane banner): Sack Trump’s Project 2025! Vote Kamala!

Charlotte (Plane banner): Sack Trump’s Project 2025! Vote Kamala!

Philadelphia (Plane banner): Go Birds! Sack Project 2025! Vote Kamala

The creative for the skywriting and banners can be seen below:
